Admissions
All children and their families are welcome, regardless of disability, colour, ethnic origin, culture, religion or belief. Every child’s name is placed on a waiting list, which is strictly ordered by date of entry, although children with special educational needs or disabilities are given priority if a space is available.
Fees payable for sessions and additional time taken (not included in the Early Years Funding) will be charged at £6.00 per hour. Lunch club is charged at £4.75 per session. Additionally, non-funded time or sessions attract an initial non-refundable fee of £35.00 and termly contribution of £19.50. You will be charged for every session that your child is booked in for regardless of their attendance.
We also ask all parents to pay a contribution of £19.50 to cover such items as mini outings, visitors to Pre-School, cookery ingredients, snacks of fresh fruit and vegetables and general day to day treats for the children in September, January and April.
We do currently offer both the universal 15 hours of funding for 3-4 year olds, and 2 year olds from April 2024. These hours can only be used for the core pre-school hours, but do not include the lunchtime period, which will remain as a charge. The setting also offers the 30 hours of funding which can currently be used for all sessions in the pre-school, including breakfast club and after school club once the child is eligible to attend, during their year before starting school.
We require four weeks notice for a child leaving the Pre-School Nursery, or four weeks fees in lieu. If a child is absent without notice for a period of four weeks, then the Pre-School reserve the right to reallocate the place without recourse, but will write to the parent informing them of the decision. The Early Years Department would be informed immediately in the event of that child being in receipt of the Early Years Entitlement.
